Good tip! Unfortunately the boots I want are exclusive to UA, so no luck with that haha.

I think I mentioned some suggestions on the other thread about winter shoes.

Posted 3 days ago

LOL, no kidding. Apparently you're not cool unless you have a blog. Hahaha jk. The blogs I have checked out that belong to LSS members are actually pretty neat!

Ditto about the peeptoe booties. Just not very practical at all for me. Ditto also about flat boots. I love my Gabriella Rocha ones I got last year so much that I wanna get them in black too (I have...

The usual places: Nordstrom Rack, Marshalls, TJ Maxx, etc. Zappos.com is a good place to look for shoes. Urban Outfitters has a couple of suede flat boots at a decent price... You can get Ugg-style boots pretty much anywhere now...

Posted 4 days ago

You could use one as a belt buckle... I have this neat belt with a butterfly as the buckle, and the belt is turquoise elastic! Soooo...I'm thinking you could get some fun-colored elastics, and use the brooch as a fastener....

If and when you do, you better be posting some pics so we can all marvel at how fab you look! LOL

Posted 6 days ago

uhhhh...that would be "packs" of 2.

My fave flops of all time are Reefs...the ginger style. They are oh-so-comfy, come in fun and functional color combos, can be thrown in the washing machine if they get too icky....annnnd you can buy them in pack of 2...

LOL...when I was younger, my best friend's (at the time) mom trampled a few people at one of those sales to get me an Elmo doll...totally wacky.

I've found some wonderful brooches at antique shops for VERY cheap prices. I am actually planning on turning one that I bought recently into a hair pin to wear for my wedding...its still a long way away...but when I saw...

The trick is to style them well. For instance, pairing them with a flowy (note: non-fitted) top or tunic is a nice option for someone who maybe self-conscious about looking too small. Or, a bulkier sweater or something for colder...

I'm not really sure people understand the concept of the contest. Its not really clear. From what I understand, you're supposed to upload a pic inspired by one of the watches shown in the contest description...right?

Posted 12 days ago

Yeah, very true alya! They don't have any events near me, so I'm stuck with my own closet, my webcam, and bad lighting, lol.

Posted 12 days ago

Yes fashionmom, I do have a couple of friends that I have check out my stuff before I sell them or give them away. I agree, I like having someone I know be able to enjoy the stuff as much...

Yeah...that is a bit skewed. Especially since the contests are supposed to be about our OWN style...I would think that would require items that we actually own and wear, not stuff we put on for a photo shoot with help...

Thanks for fixing that glitch in the new contests...it was really bazarre seeing all of those entries from the same person, lol!

Grrr, I just wrote a whole thing and it didn't go through! Anyways, in a nutshell: I like Nanette Lepore's perfume (both the rose one and Shanghai Butterfly), The newer Prada one (Infusion D'iris), Betsey Johnson's, and Lulu Guiness.
