I like the idea of being inspired and copying what I see in blogs or in magazines. In highschool it was a big faux pas to buy something once another girl had already sported it. Now, I think copying someone’s look or idea is flattering (unless of course, they are copying and claiming an original idea). Today’s outfit idea started with the December issue of Lucky and a feature on oversized houndstooth. Although this skirt (worn as a dress) isn’t exactly houndstooth, it has the same feel. I love the dramatic, loosely woven pattern. I bought the skirt 2 or so years ago, and its too big to wear as such now, so I’m wearing it sort of as a jumper. See more at:
