Since I am a brunette with brown eyes and fairly light skin, I prefer to use warmer colors on my eyes. Fortunately, I have always had nice skin and skin tone. I do not use a foundation, but I do use a moisturizer and very light bronzing power, applied with a brush. The eye shadows I prefer are in the browns, with a creamy white on the lid and under the eyebrow. Pencil eyeliner in dark brown or chocolate is my preference, and it needs to be a soft pencil that glides on easy so I can smudge it a little. Mascara is the finishing touch! I use a black/brown mascara; one that appears to lengthen and thicken eye lashes without weighing them down. Lipstick must be something with a little color. I usually use color as the base and layer it with a flesh tone or lip gloss for a wet look. I am a jewelry designer, so people are always checking out my neck for my latest design--so my makeup must be pleasing to the eye as well!
