re: preppychick
I like places like Forever 21 for a quick outfit for a night out. They have trendy styles, that are great on a budget. A lot of times they have some good deals at Wet Seal or Charlotte Rousse too, and you gotta love Nordstroms sales.

Marshall's is my favorite store, hands down. I like the Ann Taylor Loft clearance section, too. If you know what size you are, you can order from the clearance section online, too. Things get down to as low at $14.99. OldNavy.com has great basics in the bargain section, too.

I'm a bbbiiiggg fan of our local Banana Republic Outlet store. If there's one near you, go raid it! I got the Martin fit pants (normally $98) for a mere $24! It's because everything there is slightly reduced, but on top of it they have big sales. I can't tell you how many times I've restocked my wardrobe and still spent less than $100! So if there are any outlet stores near you, go visit!!!

Loooovvveeed my BR outlet when I lived in Virginia. Got pants for a steal. Shoes, bracelets, tops as well. Now I have to drive 40 minutes to get to one but it's worth it because BRs pants are a good fit for me.

I with everyone else on Nordstrom Rack and other outlet stores too. Check out the sales at J.Crew, the Gap and Anthropologie as well.

re: preppychick
h&m & f21 are great if you're shopping at full price- otherwise bargain hunting is the name of the game- loehmann's, century 21, express, etc. but personally, a thrift store does best if they have a well sorted collection- and no one else will be rocking the same thing as you! happy shopping!
