Take a pharmaceutical grade vitamin supplement that is rich in Omega 3 Fatty Acids, Vitamin E, Vitamin C and a full spectrum multi vitmain with Biotin (I recommend Metagenics to my patients and like the Wellness Pack for Women or the Pre Natal Pack. Also pick up a bottle of Nail Saver Tea Tree Oil by Jason at your local health food store.

A great tip for healthy nails. You can also buy cuticle oils to keep your nails healthy.

The nails are an extension of your skin. The skin is the largest organ in your body, an organ just like the heart, liver and brain. It is best to seek out a healthcare professional like a nutritionist or dermatologist. When the nails are showing signs of dysfunction, peeling, shipping, discoloration of brittleness, there are factors missing from your diet. These missing elements (voitmains, minerals, amino acids etc) can be clarified quickly and efficiently with a natural approach.

Be careful going to nail salons too because they can harvest bacteria that can be terrible for your nails.
