I am looking for an inexpensive pair of black boots that I can wear for walking outside. They need to be comfortable and on a budget. Any suggestions?

I think I mentioned some suggestions on the other thread about winter shoes.

You could try thrifting, sometimes you get lucky. Payless has really good prices, but it is hard to find boots in there with leather lowers, like the sole made out of leather. You could check out Old Navy, though I think they have the same problem as Payless. Have you tried going online and looking at Piperlime? They have a decent sale section. Maybe Buckle, though they are more around $100 for a pair, hmmmmm.

And I just remembered (sp?)! Do you have a Von Maur where you are? They have a great sale section too! It is hard shopping for boots right when the cold weather comes!

And I just recalled that you have a gift card too!! ^-^ There is this cute pair of sporty boots that are $84. They look like they would be very comfy to walk in. I am not sure if they would be your style or if you have used your gc yet.... And they are definitly casual, not dressy.

Thanks for the tips ladies, I'll have to check out them on shopbop and maybe I can spend my gift card on some great new boots.
