I have seen a lot of big brand shoe companies like Nike and Keds letting you design your own custom colored shoes. Have any of you done this? Would you want to design dress shoes too?

I havent. I've seen the websites where you can design your own dress. Shoes...hmm thats cool I guess. I feel like I'd be doing all the work though. Why not just start your own line? haha

I agree on this one. I have also seen sites to customize your shirts too.

I saw a website recently where you can have custom jeans made!...I think it may have beenwww.customjeans.com or something similar. I haven't tried it yet, but am very intrigued!

i love custom. its how i got my rocking boots, but usually i just like to commision local designers.

That is so awesome that you customize your boots. Has anyone ever done the personalized Keds or jeans? It sounds cool.

I am remaking some old jewelry into new jewelry for a friend... I think that falls under customizing.
I just read in Lucky about someone having their boot heels trimmed! I had no idea!! Customizing is awesome. I definitly like the idea of having someone do it locally, not some big company!

I haven't really looked into customized accessories or jeans. I might just do that or at least look into that for my clients. Everyone has a unique shape and size -- so it is a wonderful option.
