I see people wearing Crocs everywhere! I just saw an ad for high heel Crocs. What does everyone think of them?

I personally don't get them-and won't bother. Unless you're working in the garden that is!

re: Davina
At least with the holes people can add some decorations, but I still think they aren't so cute.

i think crocs only look cute on little kids, not so much for the adults. I think the holes are there so your feet can breathe? And I think they also have some decorations or pins that you stick through the holes that you can buy lol. i tried them on once and it's comfortable, but i wouldn't wear them out in public hehe

I agree. Hopefully these are a trend on their way out.

re: shopaholic23
Weren't they initially made to be gardening/beach shoes? My kids wear them in the summer. Easy to throw on and ya don't have to wear socks :) I have seen women in the mall wear them as a dress shoe. Purple crocs with a purple shirt. It doesn't make sense to me but who am I to say. Some people may look at me and say "what is she thinking wearing that?!?" :) We each have our own unique sense of style. I'm just not a personal fan of crocs. I wear flip flops in the summer :)

re: stef42678
No, no, no, no and no. No one but a 2-year-old or an avid gardener should ever wear these. Heck, they are dangerous! There have been places banning them because of accidents that have occurred after the shoes would get caught in the escalators!

re: stef42678
Definitely don't thin kthey're a trend or a must-have, but I own two pairs. They are pretty ugly but are very comfortable and LIGHT AS A FEATHER. I agree that they aren't dress shoes to be matched to an outfit, but I have occasionally worn mine out (late night Wal-Mart trips; my only pair of closed toe shoes left out while moving, etc). I typically use them as house shoes for dogwalking, etc. I wouldn't give mine up!
P.S. The holes are for when they're used as sport/water shoes (i.e. letting sand and water flow out when at the beach).

It is so funny that you hate the look but love how they feel. Do you think Crocs are here to stay?

Check out your local Winn Dixie grocery store - they're having a special promotion right now in support of breast cancer charities. If you purchase select items, you will receive a coupon for a free pair of pink Crocs!!!

re: stef42678
i hate hate hate crocs, maybe theyre okay for the garden, but its like wearing bedroom slippers at the grocery store- and i hate that people have their children everywhere with them. i was at fashion week in new york last month and at the charlotte ronson show there was a little girl sitting front row on someone's lap wearing a pair of crocs- my jaw totally dropped- but to each her own!
