Why do we (most of us) have some terribly low ratings? Pictures of beatiful women in flattering outfits have average ratings below 2. It seems like there must be some people on here who go around handing out 1s and 2s. Are we all terribly unfashionable, or are there some unsupportive women lurking on this site? Has anyone else noticed, or does the scoring work in some way that I don't understand?

I am not sure - haven't really noticed. Who really cares about rankings anyway - you're super fabulous - that's all that matters - not some other persons ranking of you. Keep on with your fabulous self!

I saw a lot of my pictures that received low ratings and it made me feel a little low on the style meter.

I guess no one can agree on style. lol. I'll be honest with you. If I see a pic that I know looks like it came out of a magazine or off the internet, I'll give them a low score. The pic should be of their own.

But I do want to say that those who are real models on here of course it's different.

A really great way to increase your rating is by using the share button (bottom left beneath the rater) to send looks to your friends and have them rate you. This is especially useful for contest entries!

I agree that the personal photos are a great way to show off your style and I admire everyone for showing how unique and great they are!

I think LUCKY should have thought about the rating system differently. People can rate each other up and down here, it's like a battle. I see so many great outfits that have surprisingly bad ratings.

I hope this betters, other wise this rating system is not about style and beauty - just about envious, petty fashion victims that can not control their bad mood.

It's one thing to give an honest rating, even if it is only 1-2. It's another to be spiteful and hateful simply because one get's a kick out of tearing other women down. I received a harsh comment in regards to facial piercings and of course, the commenter was anonymous and did not have their own photos available. This person had a long list of insults for others too. It's disgusting.

This behavior falls under Relational Aggression. Where females target other females and taunt, insult, and too often become violent towards their victim. On here though, anonymous people will leave crude comments simply to feel better about themselves or get a good laugh at making someone feel terrible about themselves.

Our style opinions are going to vary but that is what is so great about this site. Offering friendly advice is one thing but to leave a degrading comment is being abusive. All in all it is best to either ignore the rude persons, or better yet (especially if they're really offensive) report their comments to the site administration. Can't say there is anything pleasant about seeing a comment asking if a member's breasts are real in regards to a fitting blouse.

I saw the rating you are talking about and some even worse. Have you ever noticed the nasty comments are made by people with no profiles and or pictures of themselves?

Yeah a typical troll. A person like this hides behind the anonymity of the internet to show their cruel side. Why people like to do this I do not know. I've had to deal with various crude anonymous comments on several sites. It doesn't get to me what they say but rather that they hide rather than come out and say this. Childish to say the least.
