Some people will bend to every fashion trend there is. Do you? Are there any trends for winter that you love or hate? Or are you just a fashion hippie like me that buys whatever is cute no matter what's hot?

re: brittylew
I buy what I like, whether its a trend or not. If I do happen to go for a particular trend, I don't bother to buy the expensive version...instead I hit up H&M or Forever 21, etc...that way there's less guilt if I only wear it for one season.

Bimbi, you said exactly what I was going to say! Forever 21 and H&M are my go-to places for trendy items. I wised up after buying a very expensive trendy sweater at eluxury.com and later seeing the exact same style at Forever 21!

i cant really get into trends unless theyre either very flattering or have classic potential- like some on trend colors or simple cuts and silhouettes

re: brittylew
I like to buy classics, good investments. And then here and there I will add in a little somethin'- somethin'. Though that usually can be worn a lot too. I don't think I have ever bought something so trendy that it could only be worn for a minute.

re: brittylew
I'm not a slave to fashion at all. I have my own world of colors, cuts, and pieces that I am willing to wear and don't go outside that. The whole babydoll thing that was in not too long ago? I don't allow anyone to call me "babydoll" and I don't put on things that look like maternity wear. I might sound arrogant, but I'm pretty thin and don't see the point of hiding that in bulk.
I've been doing wide-leg jeans for a long time, glad they're "in style" now. But I also did skinnier cut pants that were hard to find and now they're everywhere...snap them up while they're still in style and ten years from now they can say I'm stuck in a timewarp. I don't care...as Cartman says, "I do what I want." Hahaha. Sorry...I do sound somewhat arrogant.

I'm not a slave to fashion, but I do like wearing what's hot. If I see a trend I like, I will totally go for it, but not all of the trends are things I would wear.

I'm not a slave to anything or anyone. I like the play on words -- just can't (for the obvious personal reasons) use that word. But I am OBSESSED with knowing what's "hot" and what trends should go buh-bye. Of course, like most of you -- I create my own looks from what is trendy now. However, I still mix up my outfits with classic pieces, and my pieces from years ago I hope to never part with!
