I always love a crisp white cotten blouse with black slacks,Then you pop it with anything! alone or with a jacket-add color with a scarf. You have so many choices with it.!

I have a few different kinds of black pants. I am partial to cuffed trousers of any kind. With black I like to put a white blouse (same as moonchylde) but I also like to wear satin blouses. Depending on mood it can be cream or a bright color. I will accessorize with a belt and jewelry. In the winter I add a cardigan that I belt or a fitted v-neck fine gauge sweater over a blouse, usually tucked in. The style now seems to be to add a belt around the sweater to define your waistline and add a spark of interest to the outfit. In summer I wear strappy black shoes. In winter my pointy toe boots.
